City of Batesville wins first-ever Pinnacle Award from state municipal league

The City of Batesville was presented with the first-ever “Pinnacle Award” at the Arkansas Business Trendsetter Awards ceremony held during the Arkansas Municipal League’s winter conference.

The award comes after Batesville won four of the six categories in the Trendsetter Awards which are bestowed upon cities and towns for their innovative projects and initiatives. Batesville was in the 5,000-25,000 population category.

Batesville Mayor Rick Elumbaugh (pictured below, second from right) along with various Batesville City Council members and officials accepted the award at the ceremony held yesterday in Fort Smith.
