Delicious roasted pig, a fun performance from a mentalist duo, and a few surprise announcements regarding future community projects were some of the highlights at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting, Friday, Jan. 28, at the Batesville Community Center.
Officials told the sold-out crowd that new “Wayfinding Signage” will be coming to Batesville this summer, and a “Unified Community Brand” to promote county-wide unification was also unveiled along with an “Experience Independence County” logo. A website, BatesvilleAreaAlliance.com, designed to promote the economic development and opportunities of the county was also highlighted.
