A woman wanted by Stone County authorities was taken into custody early this morning.

Judy M. Olveda was wanted for maintaining a drug premises, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Following up on information provided by the public, the Stone County Sheriff’s Office and drug task forces in two counties used a search warrant and entered the Olveda residence and found meth and drug paraphernalia.  Olveda was not at home by the time authorities arrived with their search warrant.   The court then issued a warrant for her arrest.

The Stone County Sheriff’s Office told White River Now that Olveda walked into the Stone County Detention Center around 5 a.m. this morning and turned herself in.

Around 10:30 a.m., a member of the drug task force said she was in the process of bonding out of jail.  Her bond was set at $25,000.
