Stone County man sentenced on marijuana-related charges

A Stone County man has been sentenced in Stone County Circuit Court to a long-term probation period after he entered a negotiated plea of guilty in Judge Tim Weaver’s court.

Joshua Kane Lee, 28, was charged with four counts of distributing a controlled substance, namely marijuana, maintaining a drug premises and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Each count was given a probation period of 72 months to run concurrently with each other. Lee was also fined $2,500 plus court costs and ordered to serve 60 days in a regional jail as a condition of probation. Lee was also given credit for 28 days spent in jail awaiting trial.
