‘Once Upon a Time’ gala coming to Batesville March 10

The Ozark Foothills Visual & Performing Arts Center (OFVPAC) is having its first gala, a black tie event entitled “Once Upon a Time,” Saturday, March 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Barnett Building on Main Street in Batesville.

There will be entertainment and food prepared by Southside Grill, Elizabeth’s Restaurant, Natalie’s Cafe and The Pinto Coffee and Comida.

Tickets are $75. Or a table of eight can be reserved for $500. Proceeds will benefit OFVPAC.

OFVPAC is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the community with shows ranging from dance and theater, art and music, as well as educational programs for both youths and adults. Its mission statement reads OFVPAC is to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge and strengthen communities in the Ozark Foothills region through the accessible presentation of art, performance, education and all other lawful activities for children and adults.

Future OFVPAC plans include a production of the musical, Into the Woods, April 9 and 10, at the Southside Schools auditorium; summer art camps for children ages pre-K to high school seniors; and an array of art fundraisers.
