Southern Food Festival coming this Saturday to Main Street Batesville

Be sure to take an empty stomach to this Saturday’s Peco Southern Food Festival coming to Main Street Batesville. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and will last until 3 p.m.

Batesville restaurants will be presenting their Southern dishes and will compete for the “Best of the South” award. There’ll be live music planned from the 106th Army Band, the Hamburger Cows Band, and Sarah Cecil. Circus performers, along with craft, farm and retail vendors will also be on hand.

Festivalgoers can purchase their favorite dish, or to enjoy five samples with a fresh lemonade, punch cards will also be available for $10.

The event will encompass four blocks downtown. Parking will be available at the churches and in the parking lots off of the adjacent College and Water Streets.
