The man wounded in last night’s shooting has died, and an additional suspect is in custody.

Independence County authorities have announced that the suspect in a shooting last night that left one person in critical condition has been taken into custody.
Alex Brosius was arrested sometime this morning. White River Now’s Gary B. is currently at the Independence County Sheriff’s Department and will have more info on the arrest later today.
Brosius apparently stole a pick-up truck on Neeley Street in Batesville last night and shot a man in Sulphur Rock, according to authorities. He eventually fled into the woods and was armed.
Police did bring in dogs to track him.
