A retirement celebration will be held Friday, July 27, for the manager of the Batesville office of the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services (ADWS), Ben Baxter. Baxter has served as manager of the Batesville office since 2007.
Baxter’s work history includes the Department of Local Services, White River Vo-Tech, and the Department of Human Services before transferring to ADWS in January of 2006.
Ben says he plans to spend more time on the golf course, relaxing, and enjoying life.
The retirement celebration is set for Friday, July 27, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the Department of Workforce Services office in Batesville.
ADWS is also known locally as the unemployment office.
