Three people charged with felonies in Independence County Circuit Court

Prosecutors have filed felony drug charges against three persons in Independence County Circuit Court.

38-year-old Chad Ryan Woolard is charged with possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use; possession of paraphernalia to use methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia to manufacture methamphetamine; and possessing prohibited articles in a detention center. All of those charges are felonies.

The incident in which he was arrested occurred on Aug. 20 just outside the Batesville city limits. His bond has been set at $50,000.

The second person charged is 40-year-old Lawrence Thomas Springfield. His charges include possession of methamphetamine, a felony.; possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor; and a violation of an order of protection. His charges come from an incident on Aug. 17 with a bond set at $5,000.

The third person charged was 53-year-old Selina L. Heaslet, with her charges coming from a probation/parole home visit on Aug. 17. She is charged with possession of methamphetamine a possession of drug paraphernalia to use a controlled substance — both felonies. Her bond was set at $5,000.
