The Jonesboro Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman. Lisa A. Prescott, 57, of Jonesboro, was last seen Aug. 31, according to family members.  She is white, stands 5’8″ and weighs 175 lbs. Prescott has brown hair and green eyes.

Jonesboro Police note Prescott does take prescription medications and has had medical treatment in the past.

A check with all known friends and family has been conducted and no one has had contact with her. Further, a check of local hospitals and other facilities has been conducted and have also not had contact with her.

Erika K. Fleming and Michael J. Elliott, the niece and nephew of Prescott, posted pictures of their aunt on Facebook to inform readers of her missing status.

Prescott was last seen wearing a black Winnie the Pooh pajama top with pink and purple Eeyores on it and may be wearing a fleece purple robe, according to Fleming. The niece said her aunt does not have her wallet, purse or cell phone with her.

Elliott said his aunt’s front door was left unlocked and her dog was running loose inside the home. Family members say that is out of her character.

Prescott’s home is located in the Jonesboro Griffin Park neighborhood. Officials, over the weekend, said search dogs were used in the effort to find Prescott.

If contact is made, please contact the Jonesboro Police Department at (870) 935-5657 or your local law enforcement agency.
