On Aug 14, a couple who lives in the Morrilton, Ark., area apparently stole a trailer in Mountain View and sold it on a website, according to info from authorities.
The couple was identified as 45-year-old Melissa Williams and 46-year-old Joshua Walker.
Court information says the couple was in Mountain View for three days, staying in a mote. On the last day in town, Aug. 14, they decided to steal a trailer that was parked at a property on Jimmy Driftwood Parkway. Walker said he broke the lock on the trailer, hooked it to their vehicle, and took it to Morrilton. There, they put it on a website and sold it the next day for $700. In the court information, authorities say the trailer falls in a price range between $1,000 and $5,000.
Each are charged with felony theft of property and felony breaking or entering. Walker and Williams were placed in jail on other charges out of Morrilton as well as Mountain View.
