Batesville Police: Batesville Taco Bell target of Thursday night armed robbery

The Taco Bell location at 1102 S. St. Louis St. in Batesville was the target of an armed robbery last night (Thursday, Sept. 20) at approximately 10 p.m., according to the Batesville Police Department (BPD).

Upon arrival of BPD officers, “…the suspect(s) had already fled the scene,” according to a statement on the department’s Facebook page. BPD investigators are currently working several leads and following up on information and evidence obtained at the scene, according to the statement which was posted overnight.

As of late this morning (Friday, Sept. 21), the department told White River Now they have no new updates since the post.

No employees were harmed during this incident.
