Parolee home inspection yields discovery of drugs

A Cave City woman, living on the Independence County side of the town, was arrested after a parolee home inspection turned up drugs in the residence.

The inspection was done by agent Brian Gould. He found marijuana, meth, paraphernalia, and pills in the house. The woman, 32-year-old Sonya Marie Young, was arrested with charges filed in Independence County Circuit Court. She was charged with four felony drug charges including possession of meth with the purpose to deliver, and two Class A misdemeanor drug charges.

Young’s bond was set at $30,000.
