Stone County man faces nine felony charges after probation home check

A home check of a Stone County man on Sept. 20 ended in the man being charged with nine felonies.

The court information said 31-year-old Brian Roberts was taken into custody on a new warrant and then taken to his residence for a home check since he was on probation.

Authorities found a firearm, which a previously convicted felon cannot have in his possession. There was also simultaneous possession of drugs & firearms as well as possession of a controlled substance. In addition, several pieces of drug paraphernalia were confiscated.

Roberts was taken into custody and charged with 9 drug-related felonies.  His bond was set at $35,000.
