FOUND: Missing Jonesboro juvenile found safe in Poplar Bluff

UPDATE 10/09/2018, 06:15 a.m.: The Jonesboro Police Department has released a statement saying Quinn has been found safe overnight in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

The Jonesboro Police Department was notified that 16-year-old Sloane Caroline Quinn had run away from school property today, according to a release from the department.

Quinn was recorded by the Valley View High School camera system leaving school ground just before 8 a.m. today. She was seen getting in a 2004 to 2008 black Pontiac Grand Prix. The car had damage to the passenger side door and the rear view mirror was missing.

The vehicle did have what investigators believe is an Arkansas State University Red Wolves license plate on the front and the state-issued license plate on the rear of the vehicle is issued in Arkansas, however the license plate number cannot be made out in the video.

Quinn has not been seen or heard from since getting in the passenger car. It’s unknown at this time who the driver of the vehicle is, or if there were any other occupants in the vehicle.

Detectives from the Jonesboro Police Department are requesting help in locating Quinn and ask if anyone has any information on her whereabouts or knows the identity of the person that drives the described vehicle, to please contact the department at (870) 935-5657.
