Batesville man being sought by authorities for failure to appear and answer to several felony charges

news-background-1-42

An arrest warrant has been issued for a Batesville man after he failed to appear in Independence County Circuit Court and answer to a list of charges — including six felonies.

Jacob Joseph Albert, 24, faces charges from four different incidents.

The first incident occurred on Sept. 7 of this year, according to court records.  From that incident, Albert is charged with two felonies:  residential burglary, and terroristic threatening. Also from Sept. 7, he is also charged with two Class A misdemeanors: violation of a protection order and interference with emergency communications.

Then Albert is also charged with failure to appear in circuit court to answer to those charges on Nov. 27.  That charge is also a felony.

Then, the court documents say, Albert is charged with two more felonies from Sept. 26.  The circuit court charges include two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine. And then he is charged with failure to appear in court and answer to those charges on Nov. 27, as well.

Albert is currently being sought by authorities — with bond not being allowed.
