State Senator Missy Irvin of Mountain View has been elected to the chairmanship of the Senate Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee.
Sen. Irvin’s selection was made during the 35-member Senate’s organizational meeting. The members also formalized the rules for the 92nd General Assembly of the Legislature, which convenes in regular session on Jan. 14.
Other selections include the election of Sen. Jim Hendren of Gravette as President Pro Tempore for the next two years.
