The Batesville Fire Department responded to a structure fire on Big Pine Road around 10 last night. It was under control around 30 minutes from the initial page, according to BFD Fire Chief Brent Gleghorn.
A total of 25 firemen were on the scene, and there were no injuries to civilians or responders, the chief said.
The structure on 4 Big Pine Rd. is a rental property and will probably be a total loss, Gleghorn noted.
