Solid Waste Department pick-up equipment and a county board re-appointment are New Business items on the Independence County Quorum Court’s agenda when it meets April 8.

Independence County Judge Robert Griffin will ask the court to re-appoint Joe Don Reynolds to the County’s Public Health, Education and Housing Facilities Board.  The second item under New Business is listed as “2nd Side Arm Truck and Carts” for trash pick-up.

Regular monthly reports will be heard from the sheriff, treasurer, juvenile detention administrator, district court, county roads, county jail, and the county judge’s economic development report.

The court meets at 6 p.m. in the Jess B. Carpenter Building, second floor courtroom. The meeting is open to the public.
