An Independence County woman has been arrested and charged in circuit court with theft by receiving.
Maranda Kay Younger (pictured), 21, is accused of receiving or retaining a stolen debit card.
Authorities said in the affidavit that the card was used at least six times with hundreds of dollars taken from the card’s bank account.
Detective Michael Moody also requested that prosecutors charge Younger under the Habitual Offender law since she has previously been convicted of four felony charges.
Younger is in jail under a $10,000 bond.
