Not clicking it brings more than a ticket for woman after traffic stop in Mountain View

After being stopped for not wearing a seat belt, a driver in Mountain View found herself behind bars on drug-related charges.

Ashley Raker, 30, was arrested Friday, May 24, after authorities performed a search of her vehicle during the traffic stop. After securing Raker into the patrol car, officers conducted an inventory of Raker’s vehicle and found small portions of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, two glass smoking devices containing residue of the substances found, and a vaping device with THClear printed on the side, according to the affidavit of probable cause for arrest.

Raker was arrested on three felony counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, one felony count of possession of a controlled possessing a controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor driving with a suspended license.

Raker was taken to the Stone County Detention Center.
