KAIT-TV: Baxter county man arrested 26 times in the past 20 years, back behind bars

KAIT-TV in Jonesboro reports a felony probationer, who has been arrested 26 times in the last 20 years, is back behind bars after deputies found nearly two dozen guns in his home.

According to a news release from Sheriff John Montgomery of the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department, deputies found 23 firearms, including two that had their serial numbers defaced or removed, and another reported stolen in the home of James Floyd Loosey, 54.

Deputies also reported finding drugs and other contraband.

An arrest warrant was issued for Loosey on June 12 and he was later arrested at his home.
