so000146-3

One of the officers for Independence County parolees and probationers, Brian Gould, brought Officer Jordan Harder to a residence on Justin Drive in reference to finding a controlled substance during a home visit.

Gould said it was not the parolee who was in possession of an illegal drug, but another man at the residence, Kellum Kupfner, 37.

Gould said he found Kupfner in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and a methamphetamine pipe.

Kupfner and another man present at the scene, Richard Owen, were taken to jail.

Owen was jailed on an outstanding warrant and Kupfner was jailed for possession of two controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
