The City of Batesville and White River Medical Center (WRMC) are partnering to provide a farmers market beginning Thursday, Aug. 8. The market is developed to promote health and wellness in our community, according to a press release from WRMC.
“The venture will provide a venue for the sale of high quality, fresh produce, and more for the residents in and around the Batesville area,” the release noted.
The market will be available and open the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the gravel parking lot near the Volunteer Way entrance at WRMC. The market will go through October.
