The Cedar Ridge School Board met in a special meeting Monday with one item under new business. And, that was the refinancing of a school bond.
Dr. Andy Ashley said it took about five minutes to get board approval to refinance a 2014 School Bond issue of $2.5 million dollars at a lower interest rate.
The board gave unanimous approval to make the move.
Ashley also said today that he expects school enrollment to remain about the same as last year’s highest enrollment.
Cedar Ridge starts school Tuesday, Aug. 13.
