The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) will host its annual Foundation Golf Tournament on Friday, Oct. 4 at The Course at Eagle Mountain.
Tee time for the four-person scramble is 11 a.m. Team sponsorship is $500 or $125 per player.
All proceeds from the tournament will go toward the establishment of a scholarship to honor UACCB’s longtime friend and advocate, Woody Castleberry, for the work he contributed to UACCB and the community of Batesville, the college noted in a statement.
Since the tournament’s inception, 12 scholarships have been endowed with proceeds from the tournament. This academic year, the UACCB Foundation will award over $40,000 in scholarships.
