Mountain View Yellowjackets fall to the Harrisburg Hornets in their final non-conference game of the season

The Mountain View Yellowjackets lost 38-0 to the Harrisburg Hornets in their final non-conference game of the season.

The game was close in the first half with the Hornets taking a 6-0 lead with 11:13 to go in the second quarter.

Mountain View would have their only offensive threat turned away with under a minute to go in the second quarter the Yellowjackets pass fell incomplete on fourth down and goal from the 12-yard line.

Mountain View would get the opening kick in the second half, but would turn it over on downs.

Harrisburg would then score on the next play from 24 yards to take a 14-0 lead.

The Hornets scored on their next four possessions, three touchdowns and a 33-yard field goal to wrap up the scoring and the 38-0 victory.

Junior J’Air Jackson led the Yellowjackets with 35 yards rushing.

Mountain View falls to 1-2 on the season and will open conference play next week when they travel to Cedar Ridge to face the Timberwolves.
