Two face variety of charges after authorities pay a home visit

After authorities conducted a Sept. 19 home visit to an eastern Independence County residence of a man identified as Brandon Ray Brokaw (pictured above, left), 31, Brokaw not only ended up behind bars, but so did a woman who was at the residence at the time.

Area law enforcement agencies went to the residence after receiving information about stolen property at the location along with drug activity, according to the incident report.

An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) matching the description of one that was recently stolen was located at the residence. Brokaw told authorities he purchased the ATV for $100. He was taken into custody for theft by receiving.

And since Brokaw was an active parolee and had a search waiver on file, authorities searched the premises and found methamphetamine, marijuana, and several pieces of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.

Brokaw is charged on five drug-related counts, including maintaining a drug premises and theft by receiving. On the theft by receiving charge, Brokaw was placed on a $50,000 bond. On the drug charges, he was placed on a $250,000 bond. Brokaw is also being charged as a habitual offender.

A woman at the residence identified as Stacy Nicole Revelle (pictured above, right), 24, also found herself facing drug-related charges, according to authorities.

Revelle is charged with maintaining a drug premises along with three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. The drugs involved meth and marijuana.

Revelle was taken into custody and placed on a $50,000 bond.
