The Melbourne Bearkatz returned home Friday night for 2019 homecoming as they faced the Marshall Bobcats in conference action.
The Bearkatz got off to a slow start, but quickly overcame the Marshall defense en route to 20 first-quarter points and led at halftime by a score of 47-8.
The teams traded scores in the second half, where the final score ended with a Bearkatz 54-22 win.
Bearkatz improved to 5-1, 2-1 in conference play.
