An arrest warrant was issued Oct. 16 for a Stone County man who was caught up in a drug-related sting operation on another known drug supplier.  He has now been charged with a drug-related felony.

Court documents in Stone County Circuit Court say after Garry Smith would fill his prescription for Hydrocodone tablets, Joshua Gardner, 26, would buy the Hydrocodone from Smith at $5.00 per tablet.

Gardner said he would sell the tablets to his “customers” for $7.00 per pill.  Gardner also told officers that he has purchased hydrocodone pills from Smith at least once a month for the last eight months.

Gardner was charged with possession of a controlled substance, namely Hydrocodone with the purpose to deliver.
