Alumni of Batesville High School are gathering this weekend in a number that may be a record reunion. The number scheduled to be in Batesville for the reunion now stands at 240, and it is growing.

Members of classes of 1943 through 1965 will attend the Pioneer football game against Wynne tonight. It is also Homecoming for the Pioneers.

Tomorrow, the group will gather at the Bill and Gail Davis farm near Concord — Chimney Rock is the name of this wonderful gathering spot.

Gale has a neat lunch planned. The event will be a time to “catch up” with classmates, some who haven’t seen or visited with each other in years.

There are several other events on the schedule including breakfast and evening gatherings in and around Batesville.
