Mountain View Yellowjackets lose final game of the regular season, 56-18

The Mountain View Yellowjackets lost their final regular-season game of the season to the Clinton Yellowjackets by a score of 56-18.

Clinton controlled the game throughout, scoring on all but one of their offensive possessions.

Mountain View got two scores from J’Air Jackson a 20-yard touchdown run and a 19-yard touchdown run, Senior Quarterback Tim Curran added a one-yard touchdown run as Mountain View had 183 yards of total offense on the night.

Mountain View fell to 5-5 overall on the season and 4-3 in conference play, while Clinton finished the regular season 9-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

Mountain View will be the number four seed from the 2-3A conference and will play next Friday night in the first round of the Class 3A State Playoffs.
