The Batesville Pioneers fell to the undefeated Valley View Blazers by a score of 23-14 to finish the regular season at 4-6, and 4-3 in the 5A East.
Valley View led 14-0 after the first quarter.
Batesville pulled within seven at the start of the second quarter on a 40-yard touchdown pass from Eli Livingston to Karson Douglas.
Valley View scored right before half to lead 21-7.
Batesville cut the score to 21-14 on a five-yard touchdown pass from Livingston to Justin Lewallen.
Valley View got a late safety to set the final margin at 23-14.
Batesville earned the fourth seed from the East and will travel to Harrison to take on the undefeated Harrison Goblins, the number one seed out of the West.
