The injured were Rob Leonard, 45, a Batesville Police Department officer, and his wife Kelly, 35, of Batesville. Leonard said in a Facebook posting that Kelly was taken to UAMS in Little Rock. He said she had no broken bones, just a lot of bruising. She was expected to be released yesterday. Leonard said he suffered seven broken ribs, a bruised lung, and broken bones in his hand and foot. He said he is “OK,” and recovering at the White River Medical Center in Batesville.
