Janice Owens, 81, of Cave City, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019. She was born June 24, 1938, in Kennett, Mo. to Ben and Lois Ramsey Moser. She was retired from UniFirst in Cave City and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Owens, and a brother, Bennie Jean Moser.
Survivors include two sons Jerry Owens (Lisa) of Walnut Ridge and David Owens (Stephanie) of Bixby, Oklahoma; one daughter, Melba Wilkinson (David) of Cave City; seven grandchildren, Jessica Wilkinson, Sarah Owens, Katie Dunbar, Garrett Owens, Abigail Owens, Madison Owens, and Spencer Owens; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Dunbar, Rory Dunbar and Rowan Antonovitch; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial followed in the Cave City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jake Antonovitch, Scott Dunbar, Garrett Owens, and Blake Mullen.
Arrangements were handled by Qualls Funeral Home.
