Obituary: Ola Mae Miller

Ola Mae Miller, 96, of Cave City, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2019. She was born Jan. 12, 1923, in Batesville to J. Vernon and Martha Jane Hinson Gammill. She was a homemaker and a member of the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church at Cave City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Oras Miller; a son, Morris Miller; one brother, Oal Junior Gammill and one sister, Othel Johnson.

Survivors include one son, Steve Miller (Gina) of Evening Shade; one daughter, Margaret Perkey (Arbra) of Cave City; seven grandchildren, Angie Hooker (Bobby), Rachel Jackson (Casey), Lorrie Smith (Rohm), Joe Warren (Dee), Jennifer Cannon, Denise Wooldridge and Shelley Gallap (Denny); seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at 10 a.m. at the Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with Bro. Phillip Lewallen officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Sidney.

Pallbearers were Casey Jackson, Joe Warren, William Smith, Rohm Smith, Bobby Hooker, Dalton Hooker, Rustin Wooldridge, and Denny Gallap.

Honorary pallbearers were Matthew Smith, A.J. Cannon, Sammy Reynolds, Kolby King and Kyler Jackson, Jet Warren.

Arrangements were handled by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
