The Batesville Police Department has investigated two traffic accidents this week, one with injuries. Both occurred on Harrison Street.

Yesterday, an accident at the Harrison and 30th street intersection injured passengers in both vehicles.

Police say the collision occurred when a vehicle operated by Hong Hughes turned left from 30th onto Harrison while having a red light and collided with a vehicle operated by Billy Willis, traveling west on Harrison.

The Batesville Fire Department provided medical attention at the scene.

The injuries were not noted as life-threatening in the police report.

Another two-vehicle crash at Harrison and Ramsey did not have injuries.

In that accident, police say a vehicle operated by Ransom Hayden, traveling west on Harrison, made a left turn onto Ramsey Street in front of a vehicle operated by Elioena Delgado, who was going east on Harrison.
