Clara Jewel Marlin Stout, 92 of Cave City died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019. She was born July 5, 1927, in Maxville, Ark. to Robert Benjamin and Lillie Gertrude Miller Marlin. She was retired owner of Clara’s Fabric Shop in Cave City and a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Noble Stout; brother, Joe Albert Marlin; sisters, Lola Pearl Evans, Minnie Stella Hutson, Josie Oreen Johns and Oma Dell Lathum and grandsons, Paul Stout and Joey Stout.
Survivors include sons, Warren Stout (Laberta) of Evening Shade, Danny Stout (Edna) of Cave City and Michael Stout (Sherry) of Batesville; daughters, Judy Linville of Arlington, Texas and Wanda Carter of Cave City; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Ron Canard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cave City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
