Obituary: Jeanette Liles

Jeanette Liles, 81, of Cave City passed away on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019.

She was born on Aug. 1, 1938, in Pike County, Ky. to Rush Reed and Lennie (Smith) Reed.

Jeanette was a member of First Baptist Church of Cave City, Ark. She loved her family, old marbles, hunting artifacts such as arrowheads and she also enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include her husband, James Luther Liles; son, Kevin Liles (Melissa) of Charlotte; daughter, Teresa Roberson (Jerry) of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, Jerry Lyn Roberson (Sandy), Michael Scott Liles (Jessica), Eric Donald Liles (Christina), Adam Kent Liles, Amber Cook, Jeff Langston, and Trevor Langston; and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; William Jefferson Reed, Alfred Reed, Lafayette Reed, Benton Reed, Walter Reed, and Infant Charlie Reed; and five sisters, Anna June Baker, Jemima Varney, Ida Lorenz, Hester Hunt, and Mary Jane Reynolds.

Pallbearers are Scott Hayes, Robert Brewer, Von Brewer, Tony Anderson, Ryan Hayes, and Bart Hayes. Honorary pallbearers will be all of her grandchildren and Mike Shaw.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Shamrock Cemetery in Charlotte.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday just prior to service at the funeral home.
