OBITUARY: Larry James Gammill

Larry James Gammill, 46, of Timbo, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Larry James was born on Jan. 3, 1974 in Batesville to Larry Dean and Sylvia May (Cowell) Gammill. Larry was saved at a young age and attended Loafer’s Glory Community Church. He worked for many years as an electrician and a carpenter and also made many friends while working for Ferrell Gas driving all over the surrounding area delivering propane. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving friends and family.

Larry James is survived by his loving wife, Carrie (Horton) Gammill; two sons, which were the pride of his life, Kyler and Kolton Gammill his parents, Larry Dean and Sylvia May (Cowell) Gammill; one sister, Ladeanna Deann Strutton and husband Shawn; nephews, Jacob Strutton and Cody Horton; nieces, Samaya Strutton, Kamayka Fry, Emily Madison Gammill, Mya Sigler, and Quinci Horton; mother-in-law, Brenda Horton; and a host of extended family and friends.

Larry James was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Cleon Gammill; maternal grandparents, Vern and Mildred Cowell; paternal grandparents, Carbin and Lillie Gammill, and his father-in-law, Larry Horton.

Visitation for Larry James is Tuesday, Jan. 7, from  6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church in Timbo. Funeral services are Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 10 a.m. at Timbo Valley Assembly of God Church with Brothers Duane Ragland and David Campbell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pordue Cemetery in Onia, Ark.

Pallbearers are Kyler Gammill, Kolton Gammill, Jimmy Wayne Foster, Jerry Wilson, Terry Horton, and Johnny Sigler. Honorary pallbearers are Shawn Strutton, Jacob Strutton, Richard Morrison, Destin Morrison, Tim Parks, and Jason Bradford.

Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View is in charge of the arrangements.
