Lathea Carlile, 82, of Batesville passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1937, in Charlotte, Arkansas to Van S. Jackson Sr. and Muriel D. (Brewer) Jackson.

Survivors include her husband, William B. Carlile Sr.; one son, Buddy Carlile (Missy) of Batesville; one grandchild, Will Carlile; two great-grandchildren, Sawyer Carlile and Fletcher Carlile; and one sister, Jane Thompson of Maumelle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Van Jackson Jr.; and one sister, Anna Mae Lambert.

Pallbearers are Buddy Carlile, Will Carlile, Eddie Millsap, Keith Harmon, Don Hubbell, and Jay Slayden.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Central Avenue United Methodist Men, Shorty Coles, Sam Dortch, Dr. Chris Beller, Chris Poole, Brisden Slayden, Dr. John Harris, Dr. J.D. Allen, and Dr. J.R. Baker.

Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Alderbrook Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Paul Seay officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020, at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Central Avenue Methodist Church, 1205 N. Central Avenue, Batesville, AR 72501.
