The Main Street Batesville Winter Gala will take place on Friday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Street Loft located at 267 E. Main St., on the third floor of the Independence County Library.

This year’s event will feature a Roaring 20s theme. Guests are encouraged to come dressed to impress in 20s-inspired fashion, and the décor of the ballroom will rival any party Jay Gatsby could have thrown, Main Street Batesville said in a release.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions, costume contests, dancing, and music courtesy of Erin Walters and other local musicians.

Two of the event’s coordinators, Jenifer Walls (pictured above, left) and Charlotte King (right), recently dropped by the White River Now family of radio stations to talk to Big Daddy Randy Alan about the special night.

Listen to their conversation below.

Tickets are $35 each and are available online at mainstreetbatesville.org and at Merchants & Planters Bank in Batesville. All proceeds generated by the event will benefit Main Street Batesville.
