Over the last few days, the Independence County Sheriff’s Department has placed a vehicle into the Arkansas Crime Information Center which was reported stolen from a residence in the 2800 block of Saint Louis Street.
The stolen vehicle is a white, 2001 Ford F-150 XLT pickup.
Deputy Zach Spohr arrested Brian Keith Luna, 37, of Hackett for public intoxication. Luna was found in Pleasant Plains outside a convenience store. He reportedly told Deputy Zach Spohr that he didn’t know where he was.
Spohr said he indicated that he thought he was in Batesville. Spohr also noted Luna had trouble standing on his own, without leaning against his patrol unit.
The Sheriff’s Department also arrested and charged Joseph Slisher, 29. Slisher was cited for possession of instruments of crime, a drug-related offense.
