The Concord Lady Pirates Bowling teams wins the 1A-2A State Tournament in Conway

The Concord Lady Pirate bowling team finished their season winning the 1A-2A state tournament in Conway on Feb. 12.
In boys’ action, the Concord Pirate Boys completed their tournament with a fifth-place finish.
Nikki Duke made the All-State Tournament Team with a three-game score of 417.
Other high scoring girls included Maddie Decker (394), Avery Southerland, (390) and Annalise Cornett, (388)
For the boys, Hayden Smith and Matthew Zimmerman also earned All-State Honors, both shooting 526 over three games.
Also contributing good scores were Bryar Cousins (435), Kyler Hipp (415), and Hunter Spinks (410).
The girls win marks the first-ever state title for Concord Bowling, and the fifth-place boys finish is the high mark for the boys’ program.
