According to court information, Leroy Wayne Holt, 40, had not been reporting to his parole officer. Arkansas Community Correction officers Ben Lockard and Jimmy Carter, along with Lt. Dammon McGilton of the Stone County Sheriff’s Office went to Holt’s residence.

In the back of his vehicle, officers found a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and an assortment of 12-gauge shotgun shells, the information said. A convicted felon cannot own or be in possession of a firearm. Holt has been charged violating that law. His bond has been set at $5,000.

In another case, Vicky L. Lawrence, 38, is charged with two drug felonies: possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Court documents say Lawrence was found to be in possession of those items during a Feb. 22 traffic stop. She also had in her possession a small amount of marijuana. Lawrence was placed in jail and put on a $10,000 bond.

The third case involved Corey E. Gurwell, 28. He was under surveillance by authorities who were following information from the public regarding drug transactions involving Gurwell. Authorities went to his residence, and during a search found drug paraphernalia, a Class D felony.

Gurwell is also being charged under the habitual offender law. He was jailed and placed on a $2,500 bond.
