Local pharmacies staying busy during COVID-19 crisis

While some business operations have taken an economic hit because of the coronavirus pandemic (especially those who have been ordered to close by the governor), it’s not the case for your local pharmacy.

Gary Bridgman, with the White River Now family of radio stations, visited with Melissa Qualls (pictured) of Sav-On Pharmacy in Batesville about how the pharmacy business is operating through the crisis.

“I don’t think it has been as bad for pharmacies because we are an essential service, people still need their medication, so that’s why we’re still here and still open regular hours,” Qualls told Gary B. “We’re just kind of having to adjust our normal way of doing business.”
