Obituary: Winter Necole Kendall

Winter Necole Kendall (Winnie Pooh) was born May 8, 1979, in Newport to Lorice (Kendall) Dinwiddie and the late Robert Louis Dinwiddie.  She accepted Christ.  In 1998 she graduated from Newport High School.  She later became a Nurses Aide.  Winter enjoyed taking care of people, watching her children play sports, and she was their biggest cheerleader. She enjoyed being with her grandkids that called her Nanu.

She was preceded in death by her father; Robert Louis Dinwiddie, paternal grandparents; George Murphy, Sr. and Arnice Dinwiddie, maternal grandparents; Ira and Leola Kendall; and nephew; Fredrick Leeshon Phea.

On Monday, April 13, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital Winter Kendall peacefully transitioned from her earthly temple to be with the Lord.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her mother; Lorice Dinwiddie Robinson (Steven) of Newport, three daughters; Uniqua Cox of Newport, Tamara Morgan of Newport, and Dashyrah Johnson of Conway, one son; Tharon Davis of Newport, two grandsons; Tomeer and Tyce Nelson of Newport, five sisters; Shirley Owens (Floyd) of Batesville, Lesley Phillips of Jackson, Michigan, Fawn Neal (David) of Waxahachie, Texas, Dreshana Jackson of Dallas, Texas, Arnice Dinwiddie of Newport, and special sister; Mimi Alcorn (Shawn) of Newport, two brothers; Rodney Reed of Rogers, and Robert Kendall (Raquel) of Sherwood, God sisters; Oprah Simmons of Conway, Monkia Owens of Newport, and Treneca Williams of McCrory, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 18, 2020, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in Old Harris Chapel Cemetery will graveside services following.
