Wayne Lee Tidwell, 76 of Batesville died Monday, May 25, 2020 at his home. He was born Dec. 13, 1943 in Oakland, California to Howard and Helen Luke Tidwell.
He was a retired manager of Luby’s Cafeteria in Little Rock and a member of North Heights Church of Christ in Batesville. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Kathy Ostrom.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Tidwell of the home; five daughters, Lisa Dahlem (Noel) and Natalie Cadenhead (Ben) both of Missouri City, Texas, Marci Armstrong (Adger) of Houston, Texas, Emily Smith (Kevin) and Ellie Tidwell both of Batesville; one brother, Jim Tidwell (Wren) of Magnolia, Texas; one sister, Karen Baxter of Austin, Texas; eight grandchildren, Clayton Noble, Madison Dahlem, Dylan and Jacob Scanlin, Luke and Ava Cadenhead and Hank and Miller Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Spotts Cemetery in Poughkeepsie with Dr. Ed Myers officiating.
Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Smith, Stu Smith, Greg Wallis, Tracy Wallis, James Bristow and Isaac Davis.
Honorary pallbearer is Keith McMillin.
