Hunter Wolf of Newport departed this life on Monday, July 6, 2020, at the age of 34. He was born on August 10, 1985, in Newport.
Hunter was a graduate of Weiner High School, where he played baseball. He was an avid outdoorsman, whose passion was hunting, fishing, and boating on the river. Hunter enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. Most importantly, his children were his world, and they meant everything to him.
Hunter worked for O’Conner Beverage in Newport and was a member of the Village Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Lorean Wolf.
Hunter is survived by his children, Gage Wolf and Lawson Grace Wolf, both of Newport; his mother and stepfather, Karen Ann (Phillips) and Chris Holt of Weiner; his father, Robert Cleamon Wolf of Newport; one sister, Cortney Turner and husband, Justin, of Jonesboro; his maternal grandparents, Dean and Jessie Mae Phillips of Newport; his paternal grandfather, Robert Wolf of Jonesboro; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Friday at Waldenburg Cemetery with Bro. Jared Elliott officiating.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Colton Lowery, Austin Bedwell, Travis Phillips, Derek White, Richard Taylor, and Bryson Taylor. The employees of O’Conner Beverage are honorary pallbearers.
