Batesville School District becomes first in the state to implement the National Community School Model

Thursday morning the Batesville School District along with the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a commemorative celebration announcing the district-wide implementation fo the National Community School Model.

The district is the first in the state to adopt and implement the model following the adoption of Arknasas Senate Resolution 25 on March 11, 2019.

“Community schools are an effective practice to improve student outcomes, promote opportunity, and increase equity,” stated a release about the event.
